Vincere alternatives for recruitment agencies
The Access Group's recruitment suite, now Access Vincere Evo: a full front-to-back office with pay and bill built in.
Why agencies look beyond Vincere
Usually the commercial shape rather than the software: a price on the page for each plan, but Pro pricing 'shaped around how your business actually works' once you pass seven users, pay and bill and the AI as add-ons with no price shown, and deeper training at additional cost. Agencies that want the whole thing priced on a page look elsewhere.
What its own users say they would change
- Billing and contract complaints on Trustpilot, including a direct debit overcharge and 'inconsistent interpretations of the same contractual wording'.
- Capterra reviewers mention glitches, a shallow Broadbean integration and onboarding difficulty in a 2024 review.
- Pro shows £85 a user a month, but its pricing is 'not a flat per-seat rate'; the add-ons, pay and bill and the AI among them, carry no price on the page; deeper training is at additional cost.
What to look for instead
- 1
The whole price on the page, including pay and bill and the AI, at any size.
- 2
One agent in the workflow rather than an AI layer sold as add-ons.
- 3
A system built for small and mid-sized agencies rather than sized for the enterprise end of the group.
AI-native or bolted on
Where Vincere’s AI sits
Access Evo is a suite-wide AI layer across dozens of Access products, with copilot questions, screening chatbots, candidate scoring, summaries and automation agents; in Vincere the AI is sold as add-ons from the Core plan up. Kit is built only for the recruitment desk and lives in every workflow: the call becomes the record, the record ranks the book, the draft is written in your voice, and all of it acts inside four lanes of control you set per action.
Five alternatives to Vincere
Chosen for the gaps above. We are one of them.

£80 per user a month (Starter) and £120 (Core) on the UK pricing page

When to stay with Vincere
If you want a full front-to-back office from a large UK group, with umbrella and PAYE workers alongside limited-company contractors and a sister payroll product behind it. That breadth is real, and we do not match it on the umbrella and PAYE side.
Questions
- What is the best alternative to Vincere for a UK recruitment agency?
- It depends on what you are leaving for. The whole price on the page, including pay and bill and the AI, at any size. One agent in the workflow rather than an AI layer sold as add-ons. A system built for small and mid-sized agencies rather than sized for the enterprise end of the group. The five below each suit a different desk, and Vincere itself remains right for some.
- Does leaving Vincere mean losing contract pay and bill?
- What Vincere offers: temp and contract management with timesheets is an add-on on Core and 'Pay & Bill, built in' an add-on on Pro; the help centre covers invoicing, self-bill invoices for limited-company and umbrella placements and profit split per invoice; full payroll through the sister product Access FastTrack360 Evo. Vayora runs the contract desk natively, so the money moves with you.
- How long does switching from Vincere take?
- On Vincere's side, its own guidance: 'Scoped to what your team genuinely needs': a self-guided setup to 'get live the same day' and Startup 'Live in 48 hours'; guided implementation an add-on on Core and full-service implementation an add-on on Pro; deeper training 'Additional costs apply'; no fee amounts published. On ours, an import rather than a project.
