Placements and contracts
get_placement_stats returns placement counts and gross margin over a window of 90 days by default, up to 365. It can be grouped by recruiter or by placement type; with no grouping it gives the headline aggregates. list_active_contractors lists contractors currently on assignment, meaning contract placements that are active or extended. list_contracts_expiring answers the renewal question, whose contract ends within the next 30 days by default and up to 180.
get_contractor_hours takes a placement id, found with list_active_contractors, and returns the timesheet rollup for that contract: total hours, a breakdown by status and the latest period, over 30 days by default and up to 180.
Usage and credits
get_account_usage is how an assistant answers where the money went. It returns the calendar month's metered usage for the workspace by driver, with the number of events and the cost, plus the enrichment credits: how many were used, how many are held by lookups still running, how many are left and when the allowance resets. Enrichment is reported in credits, the unit the allowance is set in. It is worth calling before a batch of contact lookups.
What to ask
These are the kind of messages a recruiter types into Claude or ChatGPT once Vayora is connected. The assistant chooses the tools itself.
- How many placements did we make this quarter, and what was the gross margin by recruiter?
- Whose contract is up in the next six weeks?
- How many hours has the contractor on the Harlow assignment logged in the last month?
- How many lookup credits do we have left this month, and when do they reset?
Common questions
- Can the assistant approve timesheets or raise invoices?
- No. The contract tools only read: the active list, the expiring list and a timesheet rollup. Approving, self-billing and invoicing happen in the app.
- Does reading usage cost anything?
- No. get_account_usage spends nothing. It reports what has been used, so it is a sensible call before an assistant starts a run of contact lookups.
- What does a held credit mean?
- Credits held by lookups that are still running. They are reported apart from the credits already used and the credits remaining, so the figures add up while lookups are in flight.
- Can it show which contracts are about to end?
- Yes. list_contracts_expiring takes a number of days, 30 by default and up to 180, and returns the contracts ending inside that window. whats_on_my_desk includes the same check for the coming week.
Every tool acts as the person who connected it, inside their own workspace. The MCP overview covers connecting, the read and write split and limits. The developers page has the API and webhooks, integrations lists the rest of what Vayora connects to, and ATS or CRM for a recruitment agency explains why the records sit in one place.
